A friendly and a good vibe place is not like that. The security staff treat us very rude at the door just because we didn't know if you can pay the cloakroom with card. Was nobody in the queue after us and we felt like we were annoying them only asking this. Take a picture of your ID and face just to entry it's extremely weird. The security man ask me for ID and he directly put my bank card in a machine, I don't know how privacy works there and who have now a picture of my bank card details. No respect at all. First and last time in that place.
Really happy that this club still exists (the one club in London regularly playing psytrance!), but the sound quality really isn't great sometimes (tinny bass on some nights) and the floor is always very slippery. But the top floor/roof area is awesome, and the security are incredibly friendly.
Call it a club is just a bad joke. It's just an unhealthy 20 square metres room which has been left untouched since the 80s. As visitors who love trance music we found this place online. The 5 per person to buy online is just a fraud as it was not possible to proceed with the payment. We contacted them both on Facebook and Twitter since their accounts were active... they are still to reply. So we had to pay 10 at the door. So much of security, bouncers and control just to realise we were only 5 people in the club + the staff. The dj was most likely an amateur as the music had to completely stop from time to time. Anyway, the place is just a hustle. Maybe the worst place I've ever been.
10er entry on a Saturday is a bit steep but its a decent albeit small club if you need to stay out late- closes at 8am! Theres a terrace up top and enough sitting areas to chat rubbish with randomers. Bouncers are friendly - nice surprise!Drinks are about 5 a pint and 4 a shot
Great music especially jazz late Sunday. Buzzy vibe. Great mixed crowd. Wonderful Jamaican food for a fiver.
