Classic 15th century British Pub/Resteraunt. Very cosy classic country decor with copper bar and exposed brick work. Excellent comfort food menu priced fairly.Staff are very friendly and polite.Fair sized car park to the side also.
Visited on a Saturday after doing the lanes and rivers walk from the pub's website with 2 kids (10 and 12). Good length of walk followed by busy restaurant for a late lunch at 1.30 which continued to keep its buzz. Pheasant, massaman fish curry and pork belly for the kids all tasty and good portions together with friendly staff.
A nice rural location.Nice atmosphere inside, although it was slightly colder inside than I had expected.Food was very nice, although slightly top end price wise.
I went to the Bottle house with my wife and some friends for lunch on Friday. My friends live in the area and so they booked the table. The food was excellent as was the service. The place was warm and inviting and well worth the visit. If we are around there again will visit there for another meal. I suggest you always book.
Nice little spot away from the big city! We we're pleasantly surprised with the cute little patio outside. The staff was wonderful and the food was delicious. We ordered the fish and chips and we we're not dissapointed! Great selection of beer as well.
