Food was pretty good, service was slow. Big delays in our food coming, such that we had to cancel our last plate as it was taking far too long.They also added 2 beers to our bill which we never had. Got them removed. Couldn't recommend, I'm afraid.Update: Just an update as the owner responded to my review above. I emailed the owner explaining my review and that was a couple of weeks ago. That's the update.
Amazing.Tiger & Pig is a to y gem in the heart of Brixton market.The short menu is jam-packed with tasty options to suit most tastes...be it meat lovers or vegetable fans. A gorgeous selection of fluffy bao style buns is always on my order tab as is the spicy chicken nuggets.For something a little less spicy yet equally delicious...try the steamed broccoli with Ponzi sauce! Absolute winner every time.
Tiny Pan Asian spot with Japanese , Chinese and Taiwanese influences. Great baos and decent ribs and wings though the latter were slightly too sweet. Speaking of... the sweet potato were obviously popular but somewhat out of place, given the menu - they needed some salt. The staff were friendly. The seating is, how to say, intimate.
Went for dinner here and it was amazing. The food was cooked to perfection, the meat on the ribs just fell off the bone. We shared the Pork Belly and Chicken dishes and both were delicious. The service was quick, the staff were efficient and friendly and the atmosphere was great. Would most definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone and I look forward to going back very soon.
We came on Sunday at 1330. We ordered, 1 pork belly bao, ribs, sweet potatoes and chicken wings. The sweet potatoes arrived within 10min (acceptable), but the rest of the food took 25 to 30min to arrive (unacceptable). Finally when we had to pay, an extra 20% discretionary charge was added to the bill. Why?!?! We are not in America where workers are on peanuts and need tips to survive. There is no need for a 20% tip in this environment.
