Blackwell bookshop is one of the under appreciated features of Frenchay Campus. The store sells textbooks, learning materials, and the odd game for a quiet night in (Cards Against Humanity etc). There is very little commotion in the Blackwell store, and very little opportunity for repeat custom, potentially due to the limited range of programmes it caters for, or perhaps due to the expense of the books it sells which, are not necessarily unreasonable for new books, but are somewhat on the backfoot due to competition online. However, the store does offer service in purchasing and selling pre-owned books for upcoming years of students as a form of hand-me-down.
